Description: Cloth fragment from the cemetery at Tarkhan excavated by Petrie. Plain woven with the long fringe formed from warp threads, with groups of four warps twisted together. A thicker weft thread is woven and twisted around four warps in various sections of the fragment. The grouping of these threads appears to correspond with the groups of warps from the fringe. The threads are S twisted.
