Description: A black net threaded with metal plate, called tulle bitalli. The metal is a continuous 'thread' which is folded down and cut between each stitch by the action of the thumb. This style was popular in the West in the early 20th century, and the geometric gold diamond and stripes design may be influenced by Art Deco.
