Description: Five samples and needlework including one knitted sample with seam and a sampler fragment, featuring cross-stitch lettering which is repeated in a completed sampler by the same maker (No. 2013.12). The other samples include one example of darning on wool, one sample with seam and pleating and one example of patching. The patch sample and seam work also feature the name of the individual believed to be the maker, Annie Plows.
