Description: Narrow embroidered fragment or border with five repeated floral motifs in stem stitch and satin stitch infill. Running along the length of one edge is pulled work in a zigzag pattern. All sides are raw. The original colourings in pink, green, brown and cream are still visible on the reverse of the sample. The front is faded with only the green thread retaining its colour. This is possibly stitched by a child, as was originally part of a collection of school children's work.
